We were in a small indoor shopping area and he'd asked to sit on the merry-go-round that you paid 50p for outside the bakers shop whilst I went in there. Once in Norway but even at the age of 8 he had enough Norwegian to ask for help. Once on a rocky beach with an incoming tide.
