IPaddy.......

I got an IPad for Christmas (which I'm looking forward to taking to Britmums Live this year).  I've been spending a lot of time setting it up and attempting to be able to write this blog using my IPad.  I've realised that just using Blogger for the IPad meant that posting pictures would be problematic because I often add my pictures after I've finished writing.  To do this on Blogger meant revisiting my rusty knowledge of HTML codes - who wants to do that any more? The world has moved on and forgotten how to do that.  I want to be able to write all the blog posts using the IPad without having to finish them off on the laptop if at all possible.

So, with that end in mind, I am currently roadtesting a Google blogger app "Blog Docs" which I've actually paid for - ok it was only 69p but it's my first ever paid app.  Fingers crossed that it will work.  I've got very used to using the laptop, with its familiar layout and have all my pictures ready to go. It will take a bit of getting used to and another change of format. I am really fairly computer-literate so hopefully it shouldn't be too much of an issue (yes that is a genuine cough you hear there. I'm not just coughing for dramatic effect. Blame Katie for sharing her germs). I just want to ensure the quality (visually you understand - I apologise as always for the quality of the writing) stays the same (it's the trained PA in me).  So this is a test post to see if I can do everything I need to do using my IPad (and trusty new bluetooth keyboard!).  I must admit that I don't know what half the pictures/settings mean yet though so anything might happen!

I probably should go and watch the tutorial but where's the fun in that? I love pressing buttons to see what will happen.........

(note: I've had to edit this with my laptop as the original picture didn't go in the right place - onwards and upwards - any tips from other users would be welcome).....
